An unknown Agege bread seller's accidental fame all thanks to TY Bello

A pretty Agege bread seller walked by the set of TY Bello's photoshoot and like she said, "Magic happened!" Talk about being at the right place at the right time. According to the prolific photographer, everyone thought she is a model but that's not the case. Her appearance on the photo was pure coincidence. TY Bello is determined to find and help her kick start a modelling career.

"WHO IS SHE. Every one has been asking if this lady is a model .. It was just perfect coincidence ... She just happened to be walking by while I photographed . It happened so fast .She definitely SHOULD be a model. .. I'm happy to help her build a portfolio if she's interested .She's so beautiful and photographed so well. Louis Van Guard! Man U coach employs extra security to prevent him and wife from being attacked by angry fans

Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal has reportedly employed a special team of trained security personnel to protect him and his wife.

According to a report by Mirror Sport, the former Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Holland coach is so scared of being attacked by angry Manchester United fans that he has employed a 24 hours security team equipped with the latest security gadgets and dogs to protect him and his wife Truce in their expensive Cheshire home. The under fire boss already has guards at games and the training ground.

Fans have been calling for Van Gaal's sack for over a month now, with some even hurling abuses at the manager in the stadium after a deadly patch of form throughout the month of December, with out of Work Jose Mourinho and assistant manager Ryan Giggs being mooted as managers to succeed the Dutchman.

Louis Van Gaal's men will face Stoke Cityon Tuesday in the English Premier League.

UNIMAID Dental Student Dies 3 Days After Oath-taking (photo)

On Tuesday the 26th of January, 2016 the College of Medical Sciences University of Maiduguri held her 2016 attestation and oath taking ceremony for medical and dental graduates.

Dr Aminudeen Ibrahim Idris, 26, from Dambam LGA of Bauchi state (pictured above) took oath as a dental surgeon and the best graduating student with‎ record breaking academic achievement of 3 distinctions out the 4 final year clinical courses in dentistry.

Aminudeen died on Friday 29th January, 2016 in a ghastly motor accident along Damagum axis on his way back‎ from Maiduguri having collected his certificate of practice from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria at the oath-taking ceremony.

He is described by teachers as an intelligent and industrious fellow who is humble with deep interest for research and learning.

His colleagues and friends took to his facebook page to pay glowing tributes to the intelligent brand new Dentist who died at his prime…

Graphic pics: 4year old girl & her dad burnt to death during Boko Haram attack in Maiduguri yesterday

A 4 year old girl and her father were among those that were burnt to death inside their homes during an attack on Dalori, a settlement situated on the outskirt of Maiduguri, Borno state yesterday January 30th. Over 100 people were reportedly killed during the attack which lasted over 3 hours. The sect members, dressed in military uniform, shot people dead and burnt homes. Photos: Northern governors visit Islamic Development Bank officials in Saudi Arabia to appeal for developmental partnership

Some Northern governors are currently in Saudi Arabia on a 3-day visit to the Islamic Development Bank in Jedda, Saudi Arabia, where they are to meet with the bank's president, Ahmad Ali and other top officials, to solicit for partnership to help facilitate development in the region. The meeting between the governors and the bank's top executives started today and will last till Tuesday Feb. 2nd.

The governors were led by Borno State Governor, Kashim Shettima, who is also the Chairman of the Northern States Governors ‘ Forum, NSGF. Governors Tanko Almakura of Nassarawa, Nasiru El-Rufai of Kaduna and Mohammed Abubakar of Jigawa are part of the delegation.

Oh no! Elephant impales a Buffalo

One big Buffalo met a horrific death at the tusks of a much larger animal. The Buffalo had been sleeping in the shade of a tree when a female elephant came upon it suddenly, stunned, the buffalo charged at her and sealed its fate. He headbutted her prompting her to retaliate, the elephant impaled him and shook him to death with its tusks. See more photos after the cut...

The buffalo did not die immediately and rangers at the reserve think the animal must have been unwell to act so out of character. The incident played out at the Maasai Marai reserve in Kenya and was captured by amateur photographer, Kimberly Maurer, 56, who was on holiday at the reserve. She said:

'I started looking through the images on the back of my camera immediately after the attack and became very excited to discover that I had actually captured the event in detail. This photograph was, no doubt, a once-in-a-lifetime capture for me. As you would imagine, his carcass was a meal for another animal or two.'
