Anglican Bishop Urges Buhari To Extend Anti-graft War To Corrupt Past Leaders That Are Still Alive

Anglican Bishop of Western Izon Diocese, Delta State, Rt. Rev. Edafe Emamezi says for the anti-graft crusade in the country to yield the desired result, President Muhammadu Buhari has to extend it to all corrupt past political office holders that are alive.
“The love of money and power are the things that are dividing Nigeria,” Emamezi said in his homily, yesterday at the diocesan headquarters in Patani, Patani Local Government Area of Delta State.
However, Emamezi said it was very important that Nigerians support the anti-corruption crusade.
He also urged them to put aside their ethno-religious differences and imbibe the spirit of reconciliation in order for them to be united.
“Nigerians should use this occasion of celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ to be on the part of unity through forgiveness and reconstruction,” Emamezi said.
