Diary of a single Lagos Girl

Diary of a single Lagos Girl

"I can be a perfectionist when it comes to guys as I have very high standards of what my ideal man should be like. Tall, dark, handsome, rich and must be an amazing cook. I met this guy recently and he seemed okay so I decided to give it a try and visit him at home yesterday.
It was one of a kind; I caught the most amazing sunset with the most amazing person. The sunrays from sundown shone through his tiny kitchen windows, making it seem like he had dimed the light to set the mood for a romantic evening - the scenery was beyond perfect.

We sat and talked about everything as he prepped chicken and potatoes for the grilled chicken and fries he was about to make me. It’s not everyday you get treated to a romantic meal, so I couldn’t help but smile as I watched him wipe off sweat with his forearm, as he turned over some sizzling chicken.
Laughter and giggles soon turned into agitation as we watched the room get a little dimmer. After a few minutes of fidgeting with the knob of his black gas stove, Daniel mouthed in frustration “sorry, I’m out of gas”

Please ladies what would you do if you were in my shoes?
